Sun Protection Series 5 - Ambre Solaire Oil SPF 15

Yes, I know, another Garnier product in my Sun Protection Series!  This time it is one of their 'Golden Protect' oils with an SPF of 15.  The oil glides onto the skin and feels feel smooth, rich and nourishing, mainly down to the addition of Shea Butter.

The oil is easy to work into the skin and leaves a slight oiliness - I disagree with the non-greasy feel claim but it is a pleasant, moisturising feeling rather than a yucky oil-slick.

I like the scent of this too - it feels very holiday-like.  Although it does require reapplication throughout the day, it lasts well and can cope with a quick splash in the sea.

Easy to apply and a lovely texture with a pleasant scent.

  1. Thanks for the information. I just got back from a weekend at the beach and my kids got pretty bad sunburn after multiple applications of lotion. So, I've been researching different methods of sun protection and sunscreen for kids online. They are very fair skinned, so it's always a battle to protect them from sunburn.
