REVIEW - MAC Watch Me Simmer and Impassioned

  

Today I am reviewing two of my favourite lipsticks from MAC, Watch Me Simmer and Impassioned.  They are super-vibrant pinky shades that are perfect for Summer.

I actually got both of these beauties from blog sales at a fraction of the cost and they were both in fab condition - I whole-heartedly recommend blog sales as a great way to save money and discover some new things.

Both lippies are 'Amplified' which means they have amazing pigmentation and they last so well on the lips (a good few hours), giving an almost stain-like effect beneath the rich, creamy texture.  In fact, my arm was stained all day by the swatch!

   

Watch Me Simmer is my favourite colour out of the two.  It is a hot coral pink and brightens up the whole face, working perfectly with a tan.  One seriously sad piece of news though - it was Limited Edition.  However, as with all LE items, there is a chance it will pop up again, and it can be found occasionally on places like Amazon and Ebay.  I have also heard that Maybelline Shocking Coral is a good dupe.  

Impassioned is a well-loved bright fuchsia pink.  It is bold and striking - I have to be in the right mood to go this in-your-face, being up until recently very much a nude/neutral girl.  But when I pick up the courage, this is one of my favourites!

2 gorgeous, vibrant lipsticks with lasting power but the coral touch of Watch Me Simmer pushes it into the lead for me.
