FIRST IMPRESSIONS Bioderma

On my recent holiday to Abu Dhabi, I was very excited to see a large Bioderma display in Boots - all buy one get one free!  I snapped up 4 items - 2 of the very famous micellar waters, a pore refiner and a moisturiser.  I went for the combination/oily version - Sebium - as that should be most suited to my skin.  I will be following this with a more in-depth comparison review of the micellar water.

Micelle Solution - Combination or Oily Skin
Well, so far this totally lives up to the hype - I have never seen so much make up on a cotton pad as when I swipe this over my skin!  It removes even waterproof mascara and takes off make up even when I think it has all gone.  The oily skin version feels refreshing and cleansing, leaving no residue.

Pore Refiner - Corrective Concentrate for Dilated Pores
I have only been using this for a few days so don't know about long term benefits but it seems to be highly effective.  You smooth on a layer before moisturising and it really works to reduce the appearance of pores.  I have awful, large pores and this has been great at making them appear smaller and less visible.

Moisturising Cream - Weakened Oily Skin
What I like most about this product is the texture.  Often, moisturisers for combination/oily skin are very lightweight and not actually that moisturising.  This feels rich when you put it on, quenching the skin but without feeling heavy or greasy.  A perfect balance!

Overall, I am so impressed with the brand.  I was expecting to like the micellar water, having seen so many rave reviews and reading the Escentual blind trial; however I have also been blown away by the effectiveness of the other products too.

What do you think of Bioderma?

Have you tried any other Bioderma products?
