#theSOproject Featured Bloggers 3

So we are now 6 weeks through #theSOproject and I am loving it so far! I really enjoy having a focus each week which gives me some inspiration but the best part for me has to be the community that is building up around it.  I get more views and comments from my Starting Off posts than any others and I have discovered loads of blogs that I adore through sharing links.

Here are my next three featured bloggers who are taking part in the project.

Asha blogs over at Oxford Owl.  I love her mix of fashion, beauty and books.  I also love that she's fab at communicating with other bloggers and is one of the top commentors on my blog.

Why/how did you get into blogging?
I've had a blog of one sort or another since I was about 15, but last year I seemed to be stumbling across more and more beauty and fashion blogs, and just decided to join in! It seemed like a really nice community, and I think my boyfriend was getting a bit fed up of me constantly wittering to him about make up and nail polish...

Are you enjoying the SO project so far?
I'm loving it! It's so much fun to peek inside everyone else's make up bags and pick up hints that you might not ever have thought of. It's been lovely to connect with lots of different people in such an interesting way - it gives you so much to talk about with new blogging friends!

What has been your favourite week or which are you most looking forward to?
I've really enjoyed all the weeks so far, but I particularly loved talking about skincare and blushers… I think my best post overall is going to be lips, though. I do love an excessive amount of lip products!

Hannah is a 24 year old London-based blogger originally from Sheffield who writes about beauty and style.  I love the whole look of her blog, from her graphics and fonts to the fab photos she takes.  Another one of my top commentors, Hannah's feedback always makes my day!

Why/how did you get into blogging?
I got into blogging because I used to read beauty, fashion and life style blogs all the time and just fancied trying it to see if I could do it. I've always loved writing so having the opportunity to have my own little space where I could be myself and write about things I love seemed perfect. I'm so glad I started doing it, I've enjoyed every part of it.

Are you enjoying the SO project so far?
I'm loving the So project so far. I love everything about it, the idea is an amazing one. I love writing and preparing for the posts (even though I always leave it till last minute) and I adore reading everyone else's posts. I have learnt so much from everyone so far, which is a great thing, and spent a fair amount on recommendations, which isn't such a great thing :D. My favourite part about the SO project though, is that hopefully, people just starting out with make up are getting the help and advice that I never had. These post will hopefully help them from making the embarrassing mistakes I've made over the years. I wish something like this was around when I first tried make up.

Astrid is a make up artist and blogger from Guatemala who writes in both English and Spanish!  She really knows her stuff and has some great product reviews mixed in with amazing makeup artistry photos.

Why/how did you get into blogging?
I started watching YouTube videos and then I realized my favourite YouTube makeup artists or gurus had blogs so I started reading them too and I decided that was something that I wanted to do, a way to share my thoughts and tips.

Are you enjoying the SO project so far?
I'm loving it! It's been really fun writing the posts, I think it's a really cool way to discover new blogs, that's how I've discovered a lot of the ones I'm reading at the moment.

What has been your favourite week or which are you most looking forward to?
I really liked the foundation week but I'm definitely looking forward to the eye shadow week, I can't wait to read all of the posts.

I hope you enjoyed meeting these three bloggers and have checked out their blogs!

Let me know if you would like to be featured in upcoming posts.
