Over the weekend I went shopping with my gorgeous friend Sophie. She was after a striking red lipstick that would last and not transfer onto her teeth and Ruby Woo was the perfect option. Whilst in MAC, the make up artist showed us how to apply the lipstick for the best effect. She used a lip primer first then lined the lips with a lip liner (Redd). After that, she used Redd to fill in the whole lip, applied Ruby Woo with a lip brush then went round the outside with a concealer.
By the time we returned to MAC a few hours later (and the real test - after a taste of my cinnamon sugar pretzel!), Sophie's lips were still looking fab so she took the plunge and bought all of the products the artist used.
Have you tried Ruby Woo?
What is your favourite MAC lippie?
I love this lipstick! It is a little drying, but I find that with a balm it's fine... it's the perfect red shade in my opinion :)

Yeah I think the dryness keeps it in place but balm helps!

I hate it when that happens! Debenhams often sell MAC lippies with a bit of a discount so you may be able to get it there.

This is such an amazing color! We want to try this shade too. We don't venture outside of pale pinks much but we really want to try a nice red and I think this one would be perfect! Now only if we can get our hands on it! :)
ReplyDeleteAh you really should!
